Hi! We’re Meg and Matt
We live in Northern, NJ with our pup, Rio. Thank you so much for taking the time to learn about who we are. We are very excited for you to get to know us, and we hope that you'll find us the perfect match to raise your child. We'd love it if you'd consider being part of our lives as well, but completely understand if that's not what you desire. We come from larger families eagerly awaiting the arrival of a child into our home and hearts. Your child will immediately be loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and of course most of all by us. One thing your child will never want for is a hug. Thank you again for your time, and we hope to hear from you soon.
About Us
We met on an internet dating site, back before that was the thing to do.
Our date was supposed to be just dinner (Matt had plans with friends afterwards), but after some amazing conversation and Thai food, Matt knew he had to introduce Meghan to his friends. At one point when Meghan excused herself, Matt's friend's wife leaned over to him and said, "She's great, don't let this one go", and he never did.
We connected on many things, our love of sports, the outdoors, fitness, food, and especially travel.
After 6 months of dating we traveled to Hong Kong for the wedding of Matt's college roommate, and we've been leaving the country at least once every year since then.

Why Adoption?
We are adopting because having a family is extremely important to both of us.
While we haven't been successful in starting our family on our own, we feel blessed that we have the ability to grow our family through adoption. Having friends who've adopted, and seeing firsthand the joy that child brought, and how they've completed their family, we know in our hearts that it will be the same for us.
Our Home
We live in an amazing little town home community.
The community has a sidewalk along the entire inner loop, so it's very safe for walking with a family. One of our favorite times of year is when people from all over town come to trick-or-treat. We have a large back yard to play fetch with the dog, or just relax and watch the golfers play (golf course is also part of our community). Our location provides us quick access to everything we love. In 15 minutes, we can be at any one of many mountains we love hiking on. New York City is less than an hour drive or train ride, and we enjoy going in often for shows or a nice dinner. Depending on the season, we have beaches or lakes for swimming, or mountains for skiing and snowboarding, all less than an hour away.
Pets have always been a very important part of both of our families. We brought our black lab Rio home 12 years ago, and he's brought us so much joy.
We plan on instilling the same love of animals in our children. To us, a dog is not only a pet, but a member of our family. Rio is such a mush, our nieces and nephews love having him come to visit and cuddle with them.
Our Family
We come from large close knit families. We didn't even realize how big our families were until we began planning our wedding!
When we were putting together our invitation list, we realized that with aunts, uncles, and cousins, we were over 85 people, all of which we see on a regular basis. We also have five amazing nieces and nephews on Matt's side, who we love visiting, and having down to visit. Every Christmas Eve, Matt's mom hosts an open invitation dinner, and it's not uncommon to have 30 plus people filling her house with happiness and cheer.
With both of our families being further away, we have a great group of friends nearby. During the summer we get together for BBQs, games, outdoor movies, and pool parties. We also love getting together with our friends for game night or Trivia nights.

Our Thoughts On Parenting
We promise that our child will always know what it's like to grow up being loved and have parents who work together to provide everything he or she will need.
We promise that our home will always be a warm environment, with laughing, loving, singing and dancing, and always with a loving dog companion. Every child needs an animal to hug.
We promise to be an example to our child on how to love and how to treat people with respect.
We promise to let our child to know about you and everything you've done for him or her.
We promise to give our child the tools to succeed in life, and to be there for him or her always.
We promise to share all of our hobbies and passions, and help him or her discover some of their own.
We promise to help our child see the world. We've always been avid travelers and we want our child to experience as many cultures as possible.
