John & Rob
Hi! We’re John, Rob and Ben!
Thanks for stopping by!
We’re a home-study approved New Jersey family looking to grow through a second adoption. We were married in 2017 and quickly got to work on becoming dads. In 2020 we were matched with an amazing mom who helped us realize our goal of fatherhood. Ben turns four this year and we’d love to give him a sibling and lifelong friend.
Our current adoption is open and we have regular communication with our birthmom. We’re grateful for the strong connection we’ve built and hope to do the same in a future placement.

About Us
After ten years of marriage, we’re still best friends.
We met in 2011 on a dating site, and had our first date within a week. It was a cold Saturday in December during SantaCon. In a sea of red hats and white beards we found our soulmate in each other. Later we’d share how everyone in the room seemed to disappear while we talked into the early morning about all things including fatherhood.
We got married in August of 2017 at townhall and started our adoption journey right away. In 2020 we brought home our son, Ben. Ben is a sweet, curious, empathetic boy who understands his family is special. We talk often and openly about our two-dad household and the tummy-mommy that made our family possible.
We’re excited at the possibility of being a family of four and all the adventures instore.

Our Home and Family
We live on the Jersey Shore with beaches, rivers and resevoirs minutes away.
Our five-bedroom/three-bathroom colonial home was meant for a big family. It’s a special place to gather at the holidays and all year long. The home sits on half an acre of property with plenty of space to run around when we’re not swimming in our pool or reading in the enclosed porch.
We love our family-friendly neighborhood and how accessible it is to the people and places we want to visit. Our families are less than 30min away and we’re just a short drive to NYC and Philidelphia.

To the birthmom who may be reading this…
We can’t imagine what you’re feeling or thinking as you read this. We know the decisions you are about to make will be life changing. We admire you for considering adoption. We know that no one comes to this option easily. It is the decision to put your child’s needs ahead of your own. In doing so, you’ve proven what it means to be a great parent. We promise to remind your child of that every day.
We hope to hear from you soon!
