Gregory & Jason
Hello! We are Gregory and Jason!
We appreciate your decision in making an adoption plan for your baby and would like for this letter to serve as an introduction into our lives. We can only imagine the mixture of emotions going through your heart and head. We want you to know that we are beyond excited to take this next step with you. Jason has been working for 15 years as a high school teacher and Greg is a director of a college teachers' union. Our experience in education is something we are dedicated to and passionate about. Supporting the community is important to us too. We participate in charitable events and activism for cancer, the environment, and social justice, to name a few, and would like to instill those values in a child as well. You might be thinking about health and safety (we were too). Our home is spacious, safe, and inviting. Baby- dedicated rooms are ready: carpeted playroom, bedroom, family room. On a walk around our neighborhood on any given day, you would see houses on nature-filled lots, wildlife, and a friendly hello from a neighbor. The nearby parks and trails are plentiful, whether for a hike or some fun time on the playground. Moreover, our family and friends gather often, whether for a celebration or a quick visit. Feel comfortable knowing that your child will have a strong community of love and support. Drop in on a casual day and you would probably witness some silliness, laughter, and singing along to music while we prepare healthy meal options (and sort-of healthy desserts). Lastly, every parent wants their child to have the opportunity to do whatever his/her heart desires. Any child placed with us will have an abundance of love and laughter, and every opportunity to pursue his/her dreams.

About Us
We met online - before smartphones! - and have been attached at the hip ever since.
Always willing to try new things, our first date was at an amusement park. Fun and spontaneity help to keep our relationship exciting. For example, Jason proposed to Greg on a sunset cruise and Greg surprised Jason with a Vegas wedding. Many of our individual characteristics build upon each other, such as Greg's attention to detail and organization meshing with Jason's problem-solving and determined drive. Our relationship is built on a foundation that focuses on support and communication. Achieving goals as a family unit is what is most rewarding. Whether it is cooking, home projects, or simple advice, the aim is to grow together. We are excited to establish an open adoption relationship with a birth mother and support any child in achieving whatever goals he or she may want to pursue. The best emotions to describe life for us are love and laughter. We hope to be able to shower a baby with so much of both.

Our Home and Family
Our immediate and extended family mean so much to us.
Not only can we rely on family for holidays, celebrations, and get-togethers but they are the foundation that we lean and rely on for the tough times as well. They are ready to share their love and advice: cousins, grandparents, aunts/uncles, and more are waiting and eager (some are also experienced with adoption). We are so thankful that they are here supporting us on this journey. They cannot wait to welcome a new baby into our family time (especially with diaper changes!).
We bought our home with family in mind and we are proud to have it as a foundation for our future. It is a spacious and child-friendly colonial in New Jersey. Family time is our focus. We have a completely finished carpeted attic that will serve as a designated play area. Another appealing feature to our home is the available outdoor space in which a child will be able to swim, try out various games/sports, and play catch with our dogs. We love hosting events, holidays, and weekend gatherings with family and friends as well. Quiet streets with beautiful old houses, long walks with the dogs, or just a nice stroll to enjoy the abundance of nature are some of the appealing characteristics of our neighborhood. Beaming with wildlife, parks, and trails, there are plenty of activities for your child to experience in the neighborhood. Multicultural and diverse, we appreciate that our community will offer a child the ability to meet all kinds of people and become a culturally well-rounded individual. Our cat, Franklin, purrs like a motor while being pet. Toby, a rescued Golden Retriever, likes to practice tricks, especially for a treat. Milli, our Weimaraner, is a kissing machine who likes to cuddle and run!
